Dismuzyme contains 750 units of superoxide dismutase and 750 units of catalase. These are naturally occurring enzymes. Their function is to scavenge free oxygen atoms, or free radicals. Normally, the body manufactures these enzymes if it has adequate available manganese, zinc and copper; however, some individuals benefit from higher doses, particularly those with degenerative illnesses.
