A modern program for an ancient path
Development science, formerly called nutritional balancing, is a healing method with the purpose of developing a person quickly and safely. It consists of a healthy lifestyle, a precise diet, taking 8-10 targeted nutritional supplements, and 6 or more healing procedures.
Development is the term used to describe the expressing of the full genetic potential of a human being. It causes much better health, significantly improved thinking, increased creativity, and peculiar abilities. This process is natural to humans and is spoken about in ancient texts, referred to as “The Path” for example, yet it is not taught much today nor does it occur often since all bodies are too malnourished and toxic.
The development programs offered today have their roots in various scientific breakthroughs during the 20th century (for more read The Development science pioneers). Today, Dr. Lawrence Wilson and his team continue to refine and expand the program, making Development easier and more accessible to the modern world.
The concepts behind the supplements
One may ask: why is it needed to take supplements at all? There are many answers as to why precise supplementation is needed today, and so what follows is a brief explanation on some of the concepts behind supplementation in development science:
- Nutrient replacement – This is the replacement of nutrients that a person is deficient in. Food today is extremely devoid of nutrients due to factors such as the use of super-phosphate fertilizers, so using nutritional supplements helps compensate.
- Toxic metal removal – Toxic metals are a large family of minerals that are often harmful to humans. Mankind today is exposed to the highest levels of these metals in recorded history. Development science uses about 17 methods remove them safely in the body’s own order. For example, some nutrients are used to oppose toxic metals, replace them in enzyme binding sites, and enhance their removal through eliminative organs such as the liver.
- Correcting the stress response and oxidation – Depending upon a person’s stage of stress (alarm, resistance, and exhaustion) and corresponding oxidation rates, certain doses of nutrients can be given to move the body into a healthier stage of stress, increasing the bodies available energy and allowing better adaptation to take place.
- Correcting major mineral ratios in the body – If the major ratios such as the NA/K (“vitality ratio”) and the NA/MG (“adrenal ratio”) can be properly balanced, then one’s vitality and well-being increase dramatically in many cases, and symptoms can go away on their own.
- Balance the autonomic nervous system – This is a key to the success of development programs. By balancing the parasympathetic (“rest and digest”) and the sympathetic (“fight or flight”) branches of our autonomic nervous systems, one can truly relax and allow the body to use it’s energy for healing and upgrading tissues.
- Hormonal effects of various nutrients – Zinc, copper, manganese, other nutrients directly affect hormone production in various ways. This is a reason why random use of supplements is discouraged, while precise supplementation can yield dramatic improvements in how a person feels.
- Resonance and vibrational effects of some supplements – This applies to glandular products such as thyroid and adrenal glandular. For reasons that are not well understood, glandular products signal the body to rebuild and enhance the respective gland, beyond just the nourishment the glandulars provide.
- Developmental foods and supplements – Some foods and nutrients speed up the process of development, which involves the growth of the brain and replacement of some supporting cells (glial) with more “thinking cells” (neurons) in the brain. This causes an improvement in cognitive skills, memory, coordination, personality integration, and more.
There is a part of the program that is highly individualized depending on a person’s hair mineral analysis, while there are other basic supplements that are given a bit more generally, such as kelp, GB-3, paramin, and vitamin D3. Many practical considerations are taken by Dr. Wilson and his team to minimize the number of tablets and keep the cost as low as possible.
